When we apply for a job, mostly, recruiters search applicants’ name on Google to find out some additional information, outside of their typical curriculum vitae. Even it’s similar when we submit grant application for an astounding research. There are so many facts where having website plays a key role differentiating similar candidates. Well, we can discuss the importance of having a website in another article, let’s focus on creating a free website.
First of all, we need to visit WordPress website and open a new account. It’s pretty simple: we just need to write our email address, choose a username and select a password – easy to remember but hard to crack. Then, we need to select the website type, whether it’s a blog or on any other topic, and need to mention what the blog will be about! You might be interested adding your blog’s name, or you can change/remove it anytime you want. You can select a style and website name, although, there are limited option for the free website.
As we are talking about ‘Free Website’, let’s choose ‘start with a free website’. Finally, it’s time to verify the email address. You modify/remove anything you prefer/not clicking the ‘Customize’ under the ‘Design’ tab – a very handy tool. One point to keep in mind: you can alway click on the ‘preview’ button to see the new outlook but without clicking ‘publish’, nothing will happen. .
